I have the HP connected to our LAN with AsanteTalk.
Just upgraded to Leopard from Tiger 10.4.11 where it was working fine.
After trying a couple of times, I downloaded and installed the driver
that HP still has on their site. Leopard "seems" then seems to find a
driver because it presents a drop down on the Add Printer/More Printers
drop down with HP IP Printing but the printer does not show below. It
didn't do that before I installed this driver.
BTW, I had installed all HP Drivers as part of the Leopard install. I
did an Erase and Install and then transfered all files via the Setup
Assistant during the Leopard install.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Do you have AppleTalk active for Ethernet in your Network settings? This
printer should be recognized as an AppleTalk printer and you shouldn't
have to deal with HP IP Printing at all.

Whoops. Thank you very much. AppleTalk was active but I was not
selecting the AppleTalk alternative after Add printer.
Now found and working. Appreciate.
