hp plotter to mac os x

Hello,

someone here who can help me to connect my hp 7440A colorpro serial
plotter to mac os x (g4 avec pci-serial card). I know of macplot who
should work on mac os 9.

someone has a similar setup?

which serial cable do you use?

which idea to print illustrator files?

Unless the need is frequent, it's probably simpler to use a service
bureau. In the US companies like Kinko's offer print services which
are an amazing bargain; walk in with a .pdf on a pen drive, walk out
with excellent hardcopy for a dollar or so per page. Much cheaper
and less frustrating than getting your own hardware/software running.

Hopefully somebody will chime in with a better answer, but if not
you have at least that option.
