Lexmark have posted Jaguar drivers for the X83 all-in-one unit.
There is an OS X driver designated CJMX 83L1 described as a driver for
OS X 10.2/Classic. To really be able to print from Classic environment,
however, you must also install the new OS9.x driver, CJMA 83LE.
In Jaguar, I had to run the "add printer" excercise about 3 times before
it "took." However all is printing happily in Jaguar and from Classic.
I've not received the "automatic" email driver update from Lexmark,
happened to check their site and saw the new drivers, dated 27 November.

A week or so before Lexmark published the X83 drivers, someone brought
over a Firewire drive with bootable Jaguar. This allowed me to "test
drive" some apps and check performance on my iMac DV SE 400 before
selling its soul to Jaguar. Everything started up and worked just fine.
Just for fun, we installed the existing X83 drivers and tried a printing
test. Surprisingly, it worked. If you get a chance to do something like
this, try the X73 drivers and see if they work. Don't know if Scan
function worked, but at the time I wasn't concerned about it.
