PowerLock or PL Plus?

I'm looking for a lock for my PB 170, and have narrowed it down to 2.
Both hold the machine while it is closed, which is fine by me. The
PowerLock locks into the disk drive, which is pretty cool since it has
the added benefit of preventing that access. But the PowerLock Plus
locks onto the front. Since it is the Plus, that leads me to believe
that this is an improvement, but I can't see why.
