I heard a news report that Apple has introduced a new logo. Has there
been any word about if and when it will show up on PowerBooks? And
what does the booger look like? :)

The new logo is for Mac-compatibles, I belive. It looks a bit like a
smiling face in a combo front on/profile. There was a feature on Mac's
plans for liscensing their system software in the most recent of one of the
Mac* magazines - MacWorld, I think. Check there.

Or MacWorld November 1994.

This new logo will appear on clones (yes! Macintosh clones) and on the boxex
of Mac compatable software.

And the tag line to go with it might be

"Macintosh: In your face."

The logo is for the Mac operating system only; it will appear on startup
and on the packaging of Apple licensed clones.

The logo is two stylized interlocking faces in light and dark purple forming
a rectangular shape.

See the November issue of MacWorld for a sneak peek.
