Why does 2020 13" Intel MBP's updated macOS Big Sur v11 sometimes take a long time to shut down (up to a minute)?

Hello,

Why does 2020 13" Intel MBP's updated macOS Big Sur v11 sometimes take a
long time to shut down (up to a minute)? Even the animated wait icon, on
black background, stops. And then up to a minute, MBP finally shuts down
(power off or reboot).
