I'm new in the macintosh world, and I don't know very
much about programming languages available for apples.
Are there any free C/C++ tools, like GCC ???
what are the most common languages used on apples?

Apple's Macintosh Programmers Workshop (MPW) is available free for the
downloading. There is also a developer's CD.
