Mac II power supply replacements?

Hi,

I own a Mac IIx, the six-slot behemoth. Since I assume that power supply
technology has advanced in the last 5 years, I was wondering(hoping) if there
exists a new power supply, third party or otherwise, that doesn't sound like
a 747 turbine engine(as the current one does). Any hints?

I bought a upgraded power supply for my si from Power Plus Systems 800 722
0602. Give them a try.
