Hello, I've got a question re the PowerBook 170.

How does one go about changing the internal HD SCSI ID setting? I've heard
that there is some application called SCSI Lite (?) which does this. Any
help would be appreciated. Please reply e-mail to pas...@athena.mit.edu.
Thanks in advance.

SCSI Director Lite does have the ability to change the hard drive's SCSI
ID number if the hard drive allows. On your PB, I'm not sure.
I use (at work we sell it @ $29.00/Quadmation, Inc., 408-733-5557,
Sunnyvale, California) it and like it very much, but I don't and haven't used
the other commercial utilities that are designed specifically for formatting
and diagnosing SCSI devices.

Good luck,
Robert
