Hi..

My friend bought Apple Cinema Display 22" LCD monitor.

But he wants to use with PC. So, He bought Asus 7100/DVI (includes DVI
port)..

But the port is different .....Cinema Display has bigger port than PC DVI
port...

So, How does the Cinema Display connect to PC DVI port?..

Is there some other convertor?....He wants me to find out that convertor if
there is possible to buy anywhere...

Thank you

Go to:

http://store.apple.com

Click on Accessories; click on Displays; scroll down to the bottom;
click on ADC to DVI adapter. $39.

OK, it looks as if there is some confusion here.

This is the story: The current version of the Apple Cinema Display uses
the new Apple Display Connector (ADC) scheme. A single connector carries
power, digital video and USB to the display. On the current PowerMac G4
and the Cube sport this connector right now.

While the digital video part of this would probably work with a DVI
adapter, the rest will not. At present there is no way to adapt this
particular model to work on his PC with DVI. The Apple adapter (made by
Beklin) does the reverse, allows you to use a display with DVI port with
Apple's ADC port.

Will there be an adapter to convert ADC to DVI (plus the power and USB
ports)? I asked Apple and they would only say they are looking into it.
Obviously having to perform 3 functions would make it difficult and more
expensive to do.

The older model 22" display uses DVI, hence it would work, by the way.
