Bad video dimensions on Apple-TV

Hi,
I've some mpeg-2 videos which look fine with VLC.
When I translate them to MP4 with iSquint,
the image is not at the right dimension. It's not
a problem as I can choose the right dimensions on the Mac.
But when I synchronize with Apple-TV, how can I tell
Apple-TV to use the right dimensions ?
Of course I would like to get the whole scrren of my
TV (1080i).
