Scanner to Omnipage trouble

I have a Umax Astra 600S that I have been using with pagemanager
(supplied with the scanner) with no problems at all. I recently tried
using Omnipage Pro v7 to scan, but it says it is unable to find the
scanner. I have tried reinstalling the scanner software, Omnipage, etc;
different drivers, but to no avail. Any suggestions?

I've had the same problem with Omnipage Direct.
Let me know if you find a solution.

I know exactly what you have to do. Use the "Works Like Apple Scan" driver
in the Chooser and choose Apple Compatible in the list that pops up. This
should help. Otherwise, UMAX has a page on their site which explains what
to do.
