I have a Mac running OSX Panther at work. I have file sharing turned on,
because I need to grab files from home sometimes. I'm wondering: is there
any system logfile, or a utility somewhere, that can show me who has
successfully and unsuccessfully connected via file sharing in the last N
days? Kind of like a Unix "last" command but not for logins but rather for
file sharing. I'd like to check it once in a while for security reasons (not
that a hacker who got root access couldn't clean up the log, of course, but
it's a layer of protection anyways). Any thoughts? Does OS X even keep a
record of filesharing requests and connections?
