Actually, you can do it with the quotes if you want.

The game looks for certain 4-letter words, like "porn", "cass", "guzz", "fund",
"tips", "ardo", and "joke". You can type anything you like between the words.

Four of these words, "porn", "tips", "guzz", and "ardo", have to be typed in
order, but you can put anything you want before, after, and between them.
Specifically,

porn: set a counter to 1
tips: if the counter is 1, set it to 2. Otherwise, set it back to 0.
guzz: if the counter is 2, set it to 3. Otherwise, set it back to 0.
ardo: if the counter is 3, pay the prize. Otherwise, set it back to 0.

So you could, for example, work the cheat by typing (without the spaces):

"stop or not i psikowanayze your dizguzzt of regular donuts"

or any other sequence that contains the subunits "porn", "tips", "guzz", and
"ardo" in order.

In version 1.1, the words are "pirn", "tops", "guzz", and "ardo", and they are
sensitive to which window you clicked on last, as well as to the counter.

without the quotations. You will be able to make Arologies and a Braun Llama
dome, if you really want to. There are other cheats, including one that
displays a joke on screen, A man asks me for a quarter, so I bit him.
In SimCity all you must do is type FUND over and over, you will get 10,000 each
time.
