say I am pleased. That said, I would like to comment on a few games:
Marathon, Sensory Overload, Rebel Assault, Flashback, Wolfenstein 3D,
Star Trek CDROM version. They were all great. Screw Doom and Wolf 3D;
Marathon and Sensory Overload kick the SHIT OUT OF THEM! Sensory
overload is like a suped-up version of Doom. I got a demo of Rebel
Assault CDROM, and it is worlds above the IBM version in my opinion. I
have no idea why these companies wait years to put out games that were
originally on the IBM. They are ALWAYS better when they come for the
Mac. Wolf 3D did not impress me at all after I saw Sensory Overload and
Marathon. As a matter of fact, don't even bother to buy it. Stick with
the afformentioned two. Flashback is great and worth the $49.00, and
so is Star Trek. Ok, if anyone wants me to elaborate on this, just say
so.

Please elaborate:
1) what box were they using? 8100/AV native with 150 Mhz 620's?
2) did you get to play?
3) did you get to see Nisus Writer? I am really curious!

Can you tell us more about Flashback and Star Trek? Flashback is similar
to Out of this World right? Is it better in anyway? How about Star Trek,
whats the news on that?

Are you talking about the same SO that many of us have downloaded the demo
of? Because if you are I thought it was a joke compared to DOOM. Maybe it
get's a *lot* better on later levels or maybe that other poster was right
and they *were* using a 150Mhz 604 chip. The demo was slow as snot on my
660av.

Even at Maximum Cripple Mode, it was unplayable on my IIci [all the
computer I have $^( ]
