7th guest help needed!

cannot seem to find! (skyscraper, knives and Stauf零 face).
I have finished most of the puzzles and the map shows all of the rooms in
the house as red except the upstairs hallway and a room on the first floor
which the map shows as being dettached from the house (stable? carriage
house?). How do I get to the dettached room, or else how do I find the
puzzle in the upstairs hallway so I can solve it, or whatever is next...
I am not looking for major spoilers here (like puzzle solutions), just
enough to get me from where I am to the next puzzle.
email replies would be greatly appreciated, as would the ftp location of a
walkthrough...a real walkthrough, not just puzzle solutions.

Go to the stained-glass door and turn towards the staircase. Now, run the
cursor around until you see chattering teeth...

When the cursor turns to chattering teeth, click.

Been there, done that, solved face puzzle, back to piano room, into
hallway. Still no puzzle at door and no access to Attic. Where do I go
from here. Could this be a bug in the game?

when you finish the stauf's face puzzle go to the toyroom and complete the flip
puzzle. ( secret passages in the portrait room painting to music room).
once you have completed the blocks in the doll house (which open secret passages from
toybox to library) you can find the knife puzzle in the hallway. only after those are
complete can you get into the attic and the skyscraper.

This is what has me baffled. I have done the flip puzzle and the blocks
and everything else anyone has talked about except the knives. The knife
puzzle refuses to come up when I approach the door to the attic. What could
the problem be?

excellent. Like Civ only better.

I had same problem - I think it is a bug. I was reduced to wandering
around in frustration for hours until, eventually, chattering teeth
did appear at foot of stairs. No obvious reason why.

face puzzle in the secret room. STILL no way to the attic. Just a door
that I can't pass thru on the second floor.

Try looking at the map. Is there anywhere you didn't go? Did you solve
the microscope puzzle? The blocks puzzle in the dollhouse?
