Looking at SimCity 2k in ResEdit, I discovered in the Menus resource what
look like four extra hidden menus: Dates (options for 1850, 1900, 1950, and
2000), Numbers (I don't know what this does), DeBug (With TONS of options to
show all the hidden disasters which you never normally see unless you're
REALLY unlucky), and PaperText, which g ives options to show all possible
newspaper texts in your city.

I tried copying the id's of these menus into the MBAR resource, and they
showed up in the game but did nothing. Anyone know how I could make these
cool hidden menus work?

Will Wright (he has an e-mail adress) said the code for those two menus
was removed from the final program. They were (my guess) made for
making teh newspaper. If you are bored enough, and feel like using
ResEdit, go make a couple SCenarios (it realy isn't that hard).

This isn't hidden. It's available when you start a new city. Except, I
thought that 1900 was the earliest you could start.

No, it's not just that one, there are about 3 or 4 of them. The Debug
is the one that really caught my eye.
