PoD HELP!

I am trying out the demo. Is there a way to save in the demo? I cannot
seem to.

Also when I fight the guys with the shields, and cannot seem to dammage
them. They seem invincible. I tried parrying, swinging, shooting,
everything... Is there something I am missing?

You need a later version of POD. The Black Knights are pussies (although
you may have trouble with the elf or the mage).
