Regarding the "touch" required of level 82...
I can't really characterize the technique. Remember that some kinds of IQ are
kinetic. Jordan, Ruth, Moe. It doesn't really lend itself to verbal
description. One hint that helped me, "Don't 'drive through' a glass pane.
Start the marble with the mouse very briskly then let up before the pane is
struck." It takes some luck (as far as I'm concerned) as well. I thought a
trackball would be better still.

Yep this "touch" in Oxyd, is one of the many things about this game that
I like a lot. I try to explain it to people, but end up taking them home
to my computer and letting them try for themselves !

What offer ?
As for level 82 of the original oxyd. I haven't got the code book, so
haven't played past level 10 8-(. I bought Oxyd Magnum at MacWorld Expo
in SF. When I have made my way through that, I will go back and tackle
Oxyd. Which may be a while. I have heard of people staying up all night
until they have done the lot. I prefer to nibble around the edges. I
play until I reach a level that doesn't display immediate obvious
solutions, then I stop for a few days and think about it. Admirable
self control maybe, but only due to a lack of free time.
