If anyone knows where I can get my grubby little mitts on a shareware game by
Randall Cook called (at least by the time I got a hold of it) "Asshole Tetris"
I'd like to be notified. It was a hillarious game I was exposed to at the campus
of Wheaton College, but never got around to snagging it. It played timely yet
annoying sound effects when one dropped tetrads, like "Why did you do that?"
Clicking on the wrong button in the shareware message/opening dialog brought
the response "Well, F**k you then..." Puerile, yes I'll concede. If anyone
knows where it's available... POST HERE!

Thanks in advance,

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!!
It is a trojan horse for the MBDF A virus.

I'm sure all copies of it have been deleted from FTP sites but if you
find a copy of it, delete it and run a virus killer.

Also known as Obnoxious Tetris, but I think the correct name is
Randall Cook's Tetris.

This is not strictly true, but last time it appeared, it was deliberately
infected.

However, the game is *not* shareware nor freeware. The author, who apparently
had some ideas of going commercial with it, demanded that it should be
deleted from the archives. That's the last I've heard of him, so I assume
that to hold until Randall Cook says something else.

Summary: Uploading Wesleyan/Obnoxious/Randall Cook's Tetris is ILLEGAL.

Not a big loss, though. Any Mac programmer could make a better Tetris in
a few days. Not that we need more. (Frac is the best shareware Tetris I
know. It's far, far above. And there is a dozen of "straight clones" of
varying quality as well.) But if you must have a "rude" Tetris, buy
yourself a few bottles of beer or coke (for making "burp" sounds) and hack
a weekend.

Not so! I had a copy of Weslyean Tetris, and it's a real game! Very funny,
too.
