Yes, I have it. The simulation itself is good, and making profit
constitutes a challenge, but the graphics are lousy. They are reminiscent
of the old SimCity classic. The livestock is tiny, the plants have little
variation. Its a cool game and I really wish Maxis upgraded the artwork.

Although Sim Farm probably isn't manly enough for all the Hornet jocks and
Marathon players out there, I happen to like it a lot. Sure, the graphics
aren't up to SC2K standards, but how much detail do you need of a field of
potatoes? As far as making a profit and expanding your territory, I find it
more difficult than SC2K. And I don't think the Scheduler is nearly as
flexible/customizable/programmable as it needs to be to manage a farm of
more than 8 plots. But I like it, if for no other reason than I'm a Sim
junkie.
One question: Has anyone found a way to herd the livestock back into a pen
once they've broken down the fence. The manual says you can use the hand
tool, but I've been completely unsuccessful. All I can do is sell them fast
before they lose value and die.
