Snood is a new puzzle game for Macintosh that will test your intellect
rather than your reflexes. Your goal is to free all of the trapped Snoods
by launching other Snoods at them. If you connect three or more Snoods,
they will transport away. If that leaves any Snoods not connected to the
top of the playfield, they will fall to safety. Don't take too long,
though. Every Snood you launch increases the Danger Level. When the gauge
fills up, the Snoods will shift downward. If the Snoods reach you, the
game is over.

Snood includes the following features:

* Set your own pace! There is no time limit in Snood, so you can play
as quickly or as patiently as you wish.

* Simple controls! You only need the mouse to play. Move it left and
right to aim your launcher, and click to launch your Snood.

* Multiple difficulty settings! Pick the level that suits your skill,
from Child to Evil. Registered users can even design their own custom
difficulty settings. Each difficulty level maintains its own high
score list and statistics, too.

* Snood is background-friendly! You can play Snood as a break while
you work or while printing, and background functions on your Mac
will still operate.

SPECIAL NOTE FOR PARENTS: Snood is a good game for children. The game is
non-violent and non-confrontational, and children can play at their own
pace. It develops several basic skills, including matching, calculation of
angles, and simple strategic assessment and problem solving. It does not
require reading, and the controls are very simple. The Child difficulty
level is easy enough for even young children.

Snood is shareware. The unregistered game is fully functional except for
the custom difficulty settings. If you register the game, I'll send you a
code which lets you:

* Design your own custom difficulty settings
* Not hear "Please!" when you start up
* Get Snood updates at no cost
* Feel good about yourself for supporting the shareware concept

Snood should be available from MacGifts sites soon. You can also
download binhexed compressed Snood from the Snood homepage:

I can also e-mail binhexed copies to people without web or ftp access.
