I'm just curious,

Have anybody else used the Character Editor for Realmz? I'm talking
about the Character Editor not the PC editor, this thing is freeware. I
think this cheat it's either for the wimp who can't get trough the game,
or for the pro who's looking for some fun in the sun.
It's really cool, you can change your stamina to 99999, your spell
points to 999999, and have +99999 points damage on every hit. Plus, you
can get your experience to be +99999999, and the experience needed to
advance a a level is substracted from this number, so basically every
time you win a battle, you'll advance a level.
It's **SO** refreshing to kick the Beholder's butt in the CofBW
scenario only with your 405 level, chemically shielded, fire protected,
invisible, psi shielded, 4 attacks/round, 100% magic resistant, 428%
chance to hit AC 0, lawful Monk. Just makes you feel darn good!

I've played the scenarios over and over. I loved it but now I found something
more fun, tweaking the game. I'm no expert. I actually test around the
character files and see what does what. My buddy can actuallyread the code
like the sunday funnies but I don't mess with that. but a new adventure has
begun, to see hidden or unused attributes of chars and their things. You can
tweak any char without an editor.
Actualy, if you're crafty, you can do everything and more with any hex editor.
The trick is how the character filed are layed out. Oh yeah, a nice little DA that
quickly convert hex into decimal will help.
I used this way because Char editors are still limited. With Hex editing, you can
also find certain extrememly difficult-to-find items. If you're even craftier, you
can change what weapons can do ( Oh like a +10 two handed, frozen viper
sword(!) that can shoot frozen death arrows). But that involves de engineering
and I don't recomend it. Did you know "Stormbringer" is a dagger?! Among
these things I found were: Death Dealer, Double Dragon(crossbows),
Exploding Arrows of Antioch, Arrow of Saphron, Battle Axe of Varg +3,
Sword of Regen, Flail of Devilish Dare, Jo Stick of Rygar, and many more
exotica. Then there are the items, armour, etc...

Actually, there is a FAQ that has all these items listed with their
attributes by Ivans Chou. You find it at http://www.outreach.com/realmz/
. I know about Stormbringer and I know that B.A. of Varg is actually +2
:-P. And of course it is fun to check out what items will be available
later on and all, just keep in mind that you won't have as much "fun"
once they are officially available.
