When Llerendel wanders around the undine cavern healing exiles, she gets
about 2 ranks/hour. When Llerendel wields her club and scurries around
like crazy getting a single whack in on every Hooded in sight, she goes up
5 ranks/hour.

I just made Second Circle; guess which strategy I chose. Here is a macro
I use to change between my moonstone and my club. It is for KeyQuencer
Lite, shareware available from http://www.binarysoft.com . I have this
attached to my F5 key. The reverse macro, which is used to change back
from club to moonstone, is left as an exercise for the reader:

Hey, instead of writing macros, maybe DT should make the arrow keys cycle
the left and right hand: Click Right arrow, right hand, up cycle next,
down cycle previous. and make the inventory window veiwable as a list for
each hand, like the mac does.

Is there a way to randomize things? Like
F1 Help - <spits out various screams of help>
F1 Thank - <Thankie!,Thank you!,Thanks!,Goody!>

etc.

I use different key combinations for this purpose. I haven't looked for a
random feature.

Ie. F1 = 'lo, F1+command = Hi there!, F1+control = Greetings!

That sort of thing.

Just a quick note on writing macros for Keyquencer Lite. The backslash is also
an operator in Keyquencer as it is in Clan Lord.

Therefore, if you want keyquencer to recognize the backslash as a typed
character, add an additional backslash to the command.

So a macro for \yell HELP!! would be:

Type "\\yell HELP!!"

Yeah, right - you want to change from club to axe and instead you get
money bag - blue pants - hand and finally axe.
I prefer to have two windows - right hand items and left hand items
with numbered slots. Player puts items in slots and option-1 gives you
right-hand item on first slot wielded, etc while ctrl works for left-hand.
You can use arrows too but then you determine the order in which items pop.
