Contrary to some rumors that are flying around, here at Cyberian Outpost
we have boxes and boxes of Mac Hexen ready to go out the door. Yes, in
stock and ready to ship. Just on principle alone we don't announce
something as in stock until it is here in the building.

I also put the demo up on our site available for downloading. Have fun!

Russ, I got my copy of Hexen today, just about when I expected it. Thank
you very much. I can't wait to get home and play it! However, yesterday
(while I was still waiting), I downloaded the demo. The archive seems to
be corrupted. I noticed you didn't binhex it, so maybe it got munched in
the transfer. Anyway, maybe you should binhex it, so no one else has to
go through the frustration of getting a 7.5+ MB download that ends up
corrupted.

Josh, I assume you DL'd the file via FTP using an FTP client? For best
results, don't DL binary files that are not BinHexed or MacBinary
encoded through your Web browser. I usually use Anarchie or Fetch for
the job (often after first doing a UNIX shell FTP for big files).
Also, make sure you transfer the file in Binary mode.

Big files tend to balloon up by several megs when BinHexed, so I can
see why Cyberian didn't want to do this. Also, the demo is available
from several other sites BinHexed.

I also downloaded the demo from the site linked to cyberian. It seemed
to be just (?) the WAD file that was corrupted. Very frustrating,
especially because that was (for me) a fast link (at 14.4).
