MacDoom level 29 - freeze :(

Hi folks,
on my Performa 475 (untuned) Doom freezes up as soon as I reach level 29.
With cheating I tried 30 and later, no probs there.
I already tried the upgrade (1.02) on the net - no chance. Any hints?

When you upgraded, did you get the update with the music?
There's a glitch in one of the music files. You can:
a) Play with music turned off.
b) Update the music files.
