4D 3.0.2 - Client on Workstations??

Does anyone know of plans to make 4D Client work on a Unix Workstation
such as an HP700 series or SUN Sparc?

I have had some success running 4D Client on an HP700 workstation using
Xcelerated Systems product LIKEN except some commands cause it to hang.
They are working at the problem but need industry support to get the
problems moved up the priority chain. (read more sale potential)

Other possibilities include Xgator which works well but consumes a MAC at
all times.

Future potential is a new product which will allow MAC emulation on a
Workstation called MAC Application Services but this won't be available
for sometime.

Any other news on this including workarounds would be appreciated.
