Send responses to the relevant news group rather than email to me.
E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my very hungry SPAM
filter. Due to Google's refusal to prevent spammers from posting
messages through their servers, I often ignore posts from Google
Groups. Use a real news client if you want me to see your posts.

Nope. You have to do some sleuthing in the Kill File window to figure
out why a prticular post got tagged or killed.
Or why it didn't. Theough I don't recall seeing it recently, I used to
have problems with by google groups kill entry not working for some
posts. I spent a fair amount of time carefully studying some of the
posts in question. Never did figure out why they weren't killed; sure
looked to me like they had extactly the string I was killing on.
No, I'm not asking for advice for what string to kill on for that. The
string in question was in the posts in question, at least as far as my
re-re-re-re-check could see.

Thanks. MT-NewsWatcher is supposed to do it, but often the function
doesn't work properly, and the author has ignored every single email I
have ever sent him inquiring of work around solutions to the problem.

Just curious, what principle is that? I don't use Thoth or MacSOUP and only
Hogwasher but I'm wondering what your beef is about it...

In a sentence or two: The author of Thoth stole open source code from
John Norstad's Newswatcher (whose license states derivative works shall
also be free) and turned around and charged for it. Then when the Mac
community caught onto him, he denied it and withdrew support for the
product he did manage to sell, which was a big FUCK YOU to all the
people who did buy it from him.

Interesting. Didn't know about that and it's certainly dirty pool. Thanks

And that's relatively distinct from another major public temper tantrum
of his.
