I've found the Motorolas to be durable and highly functional--no
connection problems attributable to the cable modem. Good luck!

That's really strange to me Michelle as our telco & cable company supply the
modems as part of the package. Never had to buy one or even heard of having
to unless it was in the dial-up daze...

Comcast customers have a choice of renting their cable modem from
Comcast or buying their own. Cox may work it the same way.

Often they supply a modem, but it's usually possible to replace it with
a third-party model if you like. That's useful around here because the
routers Qwest supplies are junk.
