It's not funny. Redmond actually thinks that that name will attract
customers. Senile decay is setting in over in Mickeysoftland.

Have you seen that silly tv commercial with the cute li'l 4-year-old
taking pictures and manipulating them and emailing them? Do you think
she read and accepted the EULA?

I saw that last night, backed up and watched it again and called my
wife from the next room. "There--that is the only MicroSoft
advertisement I've ever seen that interested me in the least." Of
course I'd buy mellamine-flavored candybars from that little lawn
sprite. They now have a spokesman I'd like to give grampa-kisses to.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Yep. It's one of, if not the very, best commercials that Mickeysoft has ever
done.

Hell, no.

Cute. But if you think the article is funny, check out some of the
comments. Like this genius:

And people complain about Steve's Reality Distortion Field! But we're
just Fan Boys, so I'm sure they think we don't count.

To be fair, I think the message-writer is angling for a job as a genius
in the "Excuses Bar" and has aptly displayed his qualifications, if
indeed he isn't over-qualified.

That must be why I've had zero security problems with OSX, but reguarly
fix friend's PCs that are loaded with malware.

I also love how one poster says:

LOL. Do these MS fanatics _really_ think Apple users are jealous?
Jealous of _what_?

Because we can't run Windows games...? Oh wait, yes we can now...

Because we can't run 'serious' Windows apps? Oh wait... see above, plus
take a look at the Mac software available which covers nearly every
market segment users have an interest in.

*thinks* Okay, I'm at a loss for what to be jealous of nowadays. Someone
care to help me out?

BTW - I'm deeply impressed that the signup/login process is broken for
PC World's site *shakes head* I signed up, followed the link emailed to
me in the confirmation email and just get the login page again with the
demand in red that a password is required. Well of course I entered it
(and have now done so many times), both manually and trying FF's
remembered version. Nothing works. Typical *sighs*
