Mac mini connected to a VGA Monitor

I'd like to save the money and buy a Monitor from Best Buy, etc,, and
pass on Apples $600 monitor. But I'm sure I will need adapters and
cables? So if you've had experience with Mac Mini's, please share.

The last time I got a Mini, it had a dvi-to-vga adapter in the box.
Just connect the monitor's cable to the adapter, etc.
Apple's Mini tech specs page says:
"VGA video output (using included adapter) to support analog resolutions
up to 1920 by 1080 pixels"
If the adapter actually isn't shipped in the box anymore, you can get
one from Amazon for a bit under $10.

I have not bought the Mac Mini or the VGA monitor. I'm trying to find
out what I need before I commit. If I buy the Mac Mini and the Apple
Monitor at the same time, AppleCare is the same price.

As has been pointed out, it comes with an adapter - at least mine did
three weeks ago. And if it's an Apple monitor, don't that all use the
digital connector or whatever it is (I haven't checked - my Dell flattie
came with both cables).

If you buy an Apple display, it won't use VGA anyway - it'll be DVI.
The Mac mini comes with a DVI to VGA adapter, so you can use it with any
DVI or VGA display.

else fails go to Ebay and find a seller from China. I bet
they're about a buck or 2. Plus shipping. So buy some other
electronic nick nacks from them and save on shipping.
