System extension cannot be used
The system extension
"/Syustem/Library/Extensions/CDSDAudioCaptureSupport.kext" was
installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try re-installing it,
or contact the product's vendor for an update.
I don't know who the vender is remember hearing it was an adjunct to
SpinDoctor, which I've never used, and part of the fleet of stuff
installed with Toast Titanium 10. Perhaps.
Does anyone know a way to:
a) "Correctly" install it, or install a new version
b) Uninstall it so I don't encounter this error?
c) Any other way to reconcile this appropriately or inappropriately?
Thanks for clues!

I thought about that but wondered if it would effect the activities or
related programs. Does it?

Thanks anyway!

Of course I did that already. The problem nowadays is that Google gives
you more information that you want. You have to spend a week poring
over all the guesses, and others asking the same question. I saw many
rumors of cures and hopes for updates that would resolve it. Was there
a solution in there?

It took me all of 30 seconds. The second link on the result page tells
you what the problem is and what to do to solve it:
<http://preview.tinyurl.com/35kfn9l>
This error message is there because you have a copy of Spin Doctor
loaded on your computer. No, this doesnąt mean that you have a
gentlemen in a brown coat, breakdancing in your computerŠ I mean the
Roxio software, that is suppose to assist with capturing digital audio.
This message will appear at various times, whether or not Spin Doctor is
running. To put an end to it, update to the latest version of Spin
Doctor. Then launch Spin Doctor and select łInstall Audio Capture
Support˛ from the CD Spin Doctor menu. This updates the kext file
(located in the /System/Library/Extensions folder) to a version that is
compatible with Snow Leopard.
The kext file itself is required if you want to use CD Spin Doctorąs
łAudio Music Capture˛ option. This allows you to łinstantly˛ start
recording whatever audio is currently playing on your Mac.

Of course it would affect related programs in a negative way, since they
would depend on the extension being available.

What related programs are there? Based on its title "Audio Capture
Support", it seems that SpinDoctor is the only program that calls for
this extension. I think Toast is the only one I've used, so far, from
the Toast Titanium suite.

Well you're just smarter than me I guess. Or have spent more hours
doing google searches successfuly. I went through 10 or 12 of the links
and found nothing useful.

Interesting: I ran Spin Doctor and it immediately prompted me for
installation process.

I assume it did so. I now have installed v1.5 (6/13/09). Do you know if
that's the correct version?

Well, I've gone through this process. Hopefully I'll not see the system
complaint again.
Thanks a lot for the guidance.

Sorry for being terse. I guess I was a little aggravated that it seemed
like you hadn't done a simple search when I did a search and found the
answer on only the second link.

Perhaps things have changed since that was written.

No idea. I don't bother installing the crap apps that come with Toast.
Toast is what I bought, and that's all I install.

Let us know how it works out.

That's not a question I can answer, unfortunately. I would imagine the
limits of what might be related would be those applications you
installed along with Toast. Beyond that, only the makers of Toast can
give you the 100% authoritative answer. That said, it may very well be
Spin Doctor is the only affected application.

By the way, thanks for this snarky response: I've already converted for
use against others to delightful effect! :-)

LOL. You're welcome, and sorry for being snarky!
