With this "Far Far Away" thing it seems pre-padded mightily. If you
say 10 seconds for four or five lines it will scroll for just a few
seconds and then give you 8 seconds of nothing. In the editing window
(the one with the turtle), there is a duration indication. If it says
10 you might need to change it to 20 or 30 so that the lines in
question. It doesn't seem to work very well, but I admit I've never
really tried to wrassle with it before.

iMove help says:

In the timeline, do the following:

Move your pointer to either edge of a title bar, and drag to the
right or left to lengthen or shorten the duration of the title.

Select the title, click the Clip Information button [the italic i
in
a circle] in the adjustments bar, and type a duration in the
Duration field.

True. Usually I cna back into solutions by faking the software (this
software) out. Not sure how best to fake it out of some specific
context.
