Quicken98 Menu Display Problem

I just upgraded to Quicken 98 from Intuits free offer. Right away I
found a display problem. In the check register there are menus available
on the current entry. When I pull the menu down and traverse the entries
the reverse video is not stable. It seems to be refreshing itself not a
constant black background with white text. My system is a 7600 running
8.6, NewerTech G3 250 cpu upgrade, 112m ram.

Having same problem. Haven't seen any stability issues though. Just
irritating flicker when I pull down a "Categories" pick-list.

I too obtained the new free upgrade. I tried it on my performa before
installing it on the G3...it totally destroyed my portfolio...thank
goodness for backups, I reinstalled Q7 and think I will stick with it for
the time being.
