Hi everyone,

I need your help to resuce my Powerpoint program.

After working on a 20M (full of emdedded big Excel chart with thousands
of raws) powerpoint presentation files for several days. My Powerpoint
from Office X suddenly lost copy/paste function. All the options under
Edit menu (above Select All) are grey out. Neither control click pull
down menu, nor icons in menu bars could do the job. But other Office
programs (Word X and Excel X) works fine for copy/paste, only
Powerpoint could not accept any inout or generate any output through
copy/paste. The files could still be edited and saved, but without
copy/paste, I can't modify anything I inputed from/to Excel or other
programs.

I am using the SR1 updated Office X, and I have tried to reinstall
Office X, deleting possible preference files, but so far still no luck.
the problem is not limited to the big presentation file. I tried to
create several new blank presentation files, none of them could do
copy/paste. I did disk permission repair, log out, hot reboot and cold
start, none of them could solve the problem. So I am stuck with a bad
Powerpoint program.

Have anybody experienced this before? I appreciate your help to save
my Powerpoint program.

Thanks,

Tris
