I've also been having this error message for a few weeks. Seeing as my contacts also "multiplied" in Google to the tune of some 24'000 with several screen pages for each entry I originally had, I can only deduce it was an incompatibility issue between Mac and Google.
Before, I was always able to enter dates on iPad, iPod, iMac, PC, etc. seamlessly using a variety of applications, whether directly in Google Calendar on PC or iCal, Calendar or Calendars 5 by Readdle that I ended using instead of Calendar when the latter started bugging. Then when Calendars started duplicating entries and they weren't able to fix the problem, I went back to the updated version of Calendar again and it worked fine for a while. Now it's misbehaving and displaying this message on my iMac:
The server responded with
"400"
to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation
It's difficult to know which calendar memory I should delete to try and alleviate the problem. Seeing as I have calendar entries that go back to early 2000, I'm unwilling to get rid of my past to help my present. So, I continue to have these bugs. It doesn't make me more attached to one constructor. To the contrary, you end up being suspicious of all. Apple is just as bad as Microsoft was in the past with Entourage which created tremendous duplicata of info at the time.
Any ideas as to how to simplify life?
