iPhoto 8.1.2 has the choice in music themes (ie. tunes). One,
just for example, is Doxy, by Miles Davis. Can't locate any of
the themes in Finder? Anyone know if it is possible?

I have located other things in iPhoto, some are in iPhoto or
iTunes (package info). The above stumps me though. When you play
a slideshow of pics in iP, you can stop show and choose themes
and music in a box that can be made to come up at the bottom of
the window. I want to locate the tunes that are said to be in
Themes as individual items (MP3s or AIFs or whatever).

Dorayme-

I found Doxy by another name in:

HD/Library/Application Support/iLifeSlideshow/Audio

The music isn't named correctly. They play in iTunes or QuickTime
Player, which shows the correct name. SlidingPanels.m4a is the Linus
and Lucy theme. PhotoEdges.m4a is Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.
WatercolorPanels.m4a is Debussy's Clare de Lune. Snapshots.m4a is Doxy.

If you are looking to add your own music, each entry has a companion
.plist file that may or may not be required.

First place I looked. Not there.

You beauty, Fred! Well done. Never would have dreamt to look
there, I have tried to avoid finding out about iLife, never liked
the sound of it, too trendy. I had searched iTunes too with no
luck. And, the name search failed at least for the reason you
unearthed. Thanks so much for this.

There are some really nice tunes in it and including them, come
to think of it, is going to enhance my reputation, my commercial
cred in respect to cool. I hope .4ma will be transportable to
other programs, but I probably can convert to suit.

Thanks again for your detective work.

Dorayme-

I was curious about where Apple hid the music from my previous attempts
at exporting slideshows. I also searched the available places, but
missed seeing the "Music" folder when looking through the app
/Contents/Resources that Tom mentioned. If I had found that folder, I
would have stopped there.

I didn't have any idea what a "Doxy" was!

You still helped because I could get on with my work. For some
reason of its own, I guess iCal changed the names of the files.

But I suspect, from looking at a friend's Mac in the meantime,
that the Music folder was there (where Tom Stiller, I think,
suggested) or should have been there and had somehow been moved
or deleted at some stage?
