Where does Opera keep its caches?

On one system I had used Opera to visit many web sites over time and Opera
auto-filled very nicely. Just needed to press Return, usually.

HD crashed, and I recovered some files including much of the contents of the
Library folders.

With new OS install and Opera install, I miss the history of my web browsing.

How can I restore this? Is this the history file? Some other cache? I'm not
sure what file I'm looking for or where it resides.

Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks.

Since I run a caching proxy (Squid), I have both of the following
symlinked to /dev/null for all users on all Macs:

Library/Caches/Opera
Library/Caches/Opera Caches

They took up a lot of space before. I just noticed also that
my library includes more wasted space:

Library/Preferences/Opera Preferences/Opera 7 Preferences
Library/Preferences/Opera Preferences/Opera 8 Preferences
Library/Preferences/Opera Preferences/Opera 9 Preferences

Seven is two meg; eight and nine are twenty meg each.

Trivial compared to the cache, but still a waste.

Trying to be happy is like trying to build a machine for which
the only specification is that it should run noiselessly.

Thanks for that. Folders are transferred and all is functioning as before.
