When I first installed OSX 10.2 on my 400 MHz G4, I kept my old Eidora
4.2 running under classic. But when I received mail, my filters were
not working, even though the status window showed messages were being
filtered. (Everything wound up in the IN box).

So I upgraded to 5.2 for OS X (sponsored mode), and the same thing
happens.

Is there any way to use the filters under OS X? What am I missing here?

THanks for your help.

The filters are working fine for me on OS X. My guess is that somehow
you've set a filter that puts things back in In, or that for some reason
no messages are matching any of the existing filters.

To find out what filters have acted on a message, highlight the message
and hold down the Shift key while you select "Filters" from the Window
menu. All filters that might have acted on the message will be
highlighted (some of them may not have acted if an earlier filter
included a transfer or "skip rest").
