ScanSoft sells ViaVoice for Mac OS X V3 upgrade for $40 with shipping, and
sells the regular product for $135.

I see no indication of what you need prior to the upgrade. Installed
software? A serial number? An old CD? It does not seem that the order form
asks for anything, but I did not complete it all the way.

While I don't have ViaVoice for Mac, I do have a roughly five-year-old
ViaVoice for Windows, and if I could use that, well, a hunnerd bucks is a
hunnerd bucks!

So... does anyone have direct experience with this upgrade and know what you
need?

By the way, I did send an e-mail to ScanSoft. But I figured I'd ask here,
too, just in case they, umm, "embellish" the answer.
