Was Jesus really silent on homosexuality?

The issue of same-sex “marriage” seems to be everywhere now days.
Anyone who voices an objection to it is labeled “intolerant,”
“unchristian” or a “bigot.”

You hear it all the time, “But Jesus never spoke a word against
homosexuality or same-sex marriage” or “Research of the Gospels
indicates that Jesus did not address it. It was not an issue for
Jesus” (Richard Glass Aug. 6, 2012 Kalamazoo Gazette).

Apparently for those Christians who promote the homosexual agenda,
it’s easy to overlook the fact that Jesus is God, and God inspired the
entire Bible, not just the Gospels.

*
God inspired St. Paul to write to that homosexuality is “unnatural,”
“shameful” and a “perversion” (Romans 1:27). St. Paul also tells us
that sodomy is “sinful,” “unholy” and “profane” (1 Tim 1: 9-10). Under
the inspiration of the Holy Spirit St. Paul also wrote that
homosexuals “will not inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Cor. 6:9). Strong
words indeed!

Following the logic that Jesus must be pro-homosexual because he
doesn’t speak out against it, one must assume that Jesus is also for
incest, rape and bestiality as He never spoke out against those Old
Testament prohibitions either (see Leviticus Chapter 18).

Unless the reason Jesus never spoke out against such abominations is
because those issues were already settled in first century Palestine;
He would have been wasting his breath. This seems to make the most
sense.

The fact is, Jesus did have something to say about marriage. His
stance on marriage was very strong. Jesus said “a man shall leave his
father and mother and cling to his wife and the two shall become one
flesh” (Matt. 19:4-6). A “man” shall cling to his “wife,” not his
boyfriend!

What Jesus said next is most important: “some are incapable of
marriage because they were born so, because they were made so by
others; some, because they have renounced marriage for the sake of the
kingdom of heaven” (Matt. 19:12)

For anyone committed to the teachings of the Bible, it is impossible
to speak of a “Christian same-sex marriage.” Jesus’ words rule it out,
absolutely!
