That's right Maccies, W7 is soon going to eclipse total Mac share in
the Net Applications data set.

http://marketshare.hitslink.com/report.aspx?sample=4&qprid=86&qpdt=1&qpct=4&qpcustom=Windows%207&qptimeframe=H&qpsp=95345&qpnp=160#

I played around with the URL to get it to show as much recent data as
possible. The link may not work for you, but you can retrieve a copy
from this link:

http://farmecon.com/Documents/Hourly%20market%20share%20for%20W7.pdf

It is interesting how the share cycles over the weekend when people
are home, the declines as they go to work and have to use XP in the
office.

Who gives a shit? No Mac user cares. Why should we? We have the software we
need, the company that makes the platform we favor is healthy. End of story.
I wish you Wintrolls could get that through your mindless heads!

Yawn! Sleep inducing irrelevancies.

And why would we Mac users give a tinker's damn, anyway?

I still haven't heard a coherent explanation for why it makes any sense
to judge the success of new versions of an operating system that has
~90% market share by comparing its installed base to that of an
operating system with ~4% market share.

There are probably enough clueless morons buying computers these days
(most of them, statistically, Windows boxes) that a new release of
Windows could get 10% market share even if literally didn't boot, so
long as Microsoft managed to talk OEMs into preloading it. (Though I
suppose if it didn't boot it wouldn't show up in the Net Applications
numbers. Heh.)

With regard to his motives, I tend to agree. It's still worth
debating the differences in the two markets/etc., though.

Not only does it have to boot, it has to connect to the net and hit
URL's. Quite a few hit in fact to make that kind of move in the Net
Applications data.

Actually, FaLaLa, we just enjoy pulling your strings and watching you
dance. You do dance so pretty too. I pull the string, and you move
your hips. So cute. If you ever get on Dancing With the Starz let me
know. You can win that thing with a little help form me.

With SOME PEOPLE and on SOME ISSUES, I agree. But trolls like Tommy, zara
(and all of his/her/its sockpuppets), Muah, Slade, to name a few, are
worthless wastes of human flesh. The best thing they can do, collectively,
for mankind, is to donate their organs to an organ bank, and put shotguns in
their mouths and pull the trigger. That way they'll give life to perhaps some
worthwhile individuals while ending their own miserable existences and good
riddance to bad rubbish as we say in the U.K.
