Hi,

I'm looking to purchase hard copies of the following MC88110-related
manuals, if anyone has copies they're willing to part with:

MC88110 User's Manual (MC88110UM)
MC88410 L2 Cache Controller User's Manual (MC88410UM)
MVME 197Bug User's Manual (MVME197BUG)
MVME 197* Single Board Computers Programmer's Reference Guide (MVME197PG)

Thanks!

Hi,

Some time ago, you could still order the MVME 197 Programmer's
Reference Guides from Motorola (now Freescale). I have the PRG for
the MVME197LE (ordered from Motorola about 3 years ago) as well as
the MC88110UM here. I'd rather like to keep the originals (I still
have some 88k machines running), however. But I can surely look
up details if you're interested.

but don't hold your breath.

Thanks, I appreciate the offer and may take you up on it at some point.
Maki over at m88k.org also has a copy and has offered to provide info
if needed. I was mainly just looking for a personal copy to browse at
this time, rather than for specific details. I forgot to mention that
I have an extra copy of the (less rare) 88110 and 88200 manuals, if by
chance anyone wanted to trade a copy of MC88110UM for those.

Did you ever make any progress with the open source 88k implementation?
(I noticed that post from last year.) Sounds very interesting.

Thanks again,
-Tim

Thanks for the response. I've pretty much scoured the Motorola and
Freescale sites. MCG has PDFs for the 187 and 197LE installation and
user's guides, and some errata, etc., but that's about it. The BUG and
PG manuals are not to be found, though you can find the 68k
equivalents, which contain much of the same information. Freescale's
Literature Distribution Center lists the MC88110UM and MC88410UM in
their database as "No Copy Exists."

http://www.User-Manual-Search.com is an initiative to help people to
find manuals.
On this site, 2 kinds of manuals can be found:
1. Manuals which you can download by our links to the manufactures;
2. Manuals stored on this site, which are not provided by the
manufacturer anymore.

We hope we can be of help in your search for specific manuals you may
have lost.

Requests
If you can't find the manual you are looking for, please fill in a
request, so we can try to find it for you. We have loads of manuals
which we cannot provide online, because of storage reasons, but send us
a request and we will see if we can find it for you. Without any
costs!!!

Add new Manual
If you have user manuals which are not on our site, please place them
on this site, so we can be of help to other people who have lost their
manual.
