I've inherited an inex notebook from by brother and it appears that they
have gone out of business. The only documentation that I got with it was
an accessories/expansion oreder form with thier number(s) on it. When I
tried the 800 # (800-783-4639) I get an ivalid number. I've tried long
distance directory assistance, etc, with no luck.

The laptop is:

INEX 4150 (486SLC 50MHz)\
- 4 MB RAM
- 200 MB HD
- 3.5 Floppy
- VGA LCD (b/w - grayscale)

It has a expansion slot/opening for inserting some sort of connector for
external video, keybord, ? I'm not sure. It also has an I/O expansion
slot with a cover. I'm hoping that it is a PCMCIA slot, what type I
don't know. It also has a memory expansion slot, and once again I don't
know what type.

If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. I'd really like to be able to use
it, but as it sits now, 4MB isn't going to hack for for WinFWG, WinWord,
etc.

TIA

Dave

Sorry, this is not help, but an additional request for help on the INEX
portables. My friend has one with no built-in tracking device, so she has
to use up the serial port with an external mouse. The IBM PS/2 mouse/keyboard
socket is only available with some proprietary accessory, and with no company
left, where am I going to find this part?

Where did INEX's surplus go?
Anyone from the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce read this group?
