I saw an advertisement by an online merchant for an Ashton Digital Maximate
500: It's a Celeron 500 with pretty impressive features and a price within
my budget.

How does the onboard sound from the Ashton Digital
Passport compare to a Compaq Presario 1800? I'm
impressed with the Compaq sound and its JBL
technology which would be perfect for a small
conference room presentation. Any Ashton Digital
users care to rate their machine's sound to other
