I bought a Dell P133 laptop from Onsale, delivered by Intellesale. The unit
arrived 2 weeks later and I had two days to accept the unit. I tried to
install Win95 and found the floppy drive to be defective. I called tech
support, described the problem and got an RMA number. I shipped the unit
back and waited for the replacement unit. And I waited. After 3 weeks of
waiting and customer service could not give me a delivery date(or even a
shipment date), I asked for a refund. After stuggling with the accounting
department, I was finally issued a refund... minus a 20% restocking fee.

Intellesale has charged me a restocking fee for returning a defective
computer. That is in addition to the shipping fees I paid to send the unit
back. They had my money for over 5 weeks and could never send me a working
product. I simply asked(and was promised by one of the customer service
reps) for a full refund.

The bottom line... Intellesale makes money shipping defective products.
They never fulfilled their part of the transaction and made 20%. What a
business!!!!

Did you use crdit card?

You ordered for a working laptop but they have not yet shipped you one.
Write the credit card customer service. They might be able to help.

My friend ordered a laptop from ecost.com. It was defective. If we
returned, we would lose 15% restock fee. It was not fair. I avoid any stores
like this.

Was it under warranty from Dell? Sending it to Dell for repair may have been
the better option.

I ordered from Intellesale(also via Onsale) a month ago. I called a
week later and they said they had 10 business days to fulfill my order,
they were rude and made it sound like they always wait the full 10 days
until they ship stuff. I called after 10 business days and the guys
said my order had been misplaced and they would put me back in
the 'que'. I canceled my order and they said my account would be
credited the next Monday. 10 business days later, no credit to my
account. I emailed them 4 days ago, no reply. Guess I'll call early
next week and demand instant, Full refund. If I don't get it
overnight, I'm filing a dispute.

Beware Intellesale!

Its only fair to report that Intellesale finally and completely refunded my
money. I complained to Intellesale(sent emails to everyone I could find) as
well as Onsale, Onsale talked to Intellesale and my refund was then
completed. This was an unfortunate process, but I am no longer upset with
Intellesale and Onsale appears to have been helpful in resolving the
situation

Intellisale is linked through computer shoppers web site, on this site are
photos for products sold at intellisale. I was interested in purchasing a
Dell xpi 166 shown on the top photo. When I phoned the sales dept the rep
told me she knew of no such ad and that the 166 was not available, and she
proceeded to try to sell me a Dell 133 and another similar but different
brand laptop. Isn't this bait and switch?
I don't think I want to do bussiness with this company anyway.
