It is ironic that Linux is more tightly integrated with my laptop, by I
haven't given up on trying to get NT behaving... I have a Sony Vaio PCG719C
laptop with a 3Com 3C589D (and I am trying a 10/100 3C574TX as well) on
NTWSsp3. I can get the 3Com DOS based install working to try and discover a
good IRQ and Base IO, but I can't seem to find a pair that works with the
laptop. What seem like free addresses according to "NT Diagnostics" (e.g.,
Base: 300, IRQ: 9) don't work. I am using the latest drivers from 3Com.

Any tips are appreciated. TIA. Eric.
