Hi,

Any idea on how/where to buy cheapest notebook, new or used, for writing
on-road, no Windows, GUI whatsover required?

Thanks.

Try the companies in the back zof the Computer Shopper. Antlantic-Logic
and CFO (Computer Factory Outlet) seem to be the biggest "old tech"
dealers. CFO has a web site at www.cfoinc.com. Another company is Tredex at
www.tredex.com, who seem to sell remaindered laptops when they run across
some, but don't always have some for sale, and rarely more than one model.
Good luck,

Don,

Check out this site: http://www.uvision.com/

They scan the net for the best deals on all brands of systems and
related hardware/software.

Hope this is helpful.

Example: Toshiba 430 CDS $1889.19 New
