DC voltage is below useable limit. Possibilities:

1. Wall supply is bad (unlikely)
2. Batteries bad (more likely)
3. Internal power supply board bad (less likely)

The 'DC In' Red LED indicator is blinking on a PC Toshiba T3100Sx,
and i can't start the computer.
I've not found references about it, in Toshiba's Manual, FAQ or Tech
support on Ftp !

Do you know what it is ?
(Maybe it's one of the 2 internal batteries ?)

Thank you.

That is a very common problem with the T3100sx, your problem is the
internal power supply the only fix that we have seen is to replace the
power supply. I'm not real sure whereto have the board repaired but it
is possible.....Good Luck!!

I picked up one of these hurt machines. The DC-IN light
blinked and it wouldn't start. The problem was that a part of the board
was in a bind and moving the capacitor back and forth made the computer
come on and then back off again. I just stuck a piece of foam in between
two capacitors. It has worked fine ever since. And, If you can't get it
to work, I'll buy the whole thing from you because mine has a partially
working display. Good luck.

It's most likely a power supply fault. The system will run without a main
battery inserted.
