I am going to buy a new laptop. I want to buy a Gateway Solo 2550 SE. But
first I would like to here some opinions from other people. So, if you have
experience with a Gateway Solo 2550, please let me know at :

I have the 2550LS which works fine for me.
Relatively good battery life - 4 hours or more
It did have a suspend mode which actually worked - in my
previous machines there were always problems, particularly
if there was a network attached. This one worked.
Unfortunately the suspend has now stopped working for
reasons I have not yet determined.
If you use Linux you will need the latest Xfree86 - 3.3.6, and
you probably will not be able to use the internal modem.
